A bilateral meeting to review the Rail Services Agreement between India and Nepal was held from 12-14 November 2009 at New Delhi.  The Nepalese delegation was led by Mr. Surya Prasad Silwal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Supplies and the Indian delegation was led by Mr. Suchitto Kr. Das, Executive Director Traffic Trans(F), Railway Board, Ministry of Railways. The two sides considered a proposal submitted by the Nepalese side for a comprehensive review of the Rail Services Agreement between the two countries. It was agreed to hold another meeting within six months to review progress on issues that remained outstanding.
