Maitree is the monthly publication published by the Embassy. Maitree or friendship is a reflection of the warmth and closeness between the people of two countries which this newsletter symbolises.

Every publication will focus on one contemporary issue. The Head of the Press Wing will be the Editor of the newsletter. Each newsletter will be trilingual in English, Hindi and Nepali.

The first edition of ‘Maitree’ was released by Rt. Hon’ble President of Nepal Dr. Ram Baran Yadav on the eve of the 63rd Independence day in a function organized by Indian embassy in Kathmandu.
