Ministry of External Affairs, India  has launched a web portal "Consular Grievances Monitoring System (MADAD). Anyone who has any issue regarding Consular or Community services provided by Embassy of India Kathmandu may register and track his latest status and processing done on his/her grievance. Tourist Visa on Arrival Facility at Four Additional Airports

 

Tourist Visa on Arrival Facility at Four Additional Airports viz. Trivandrum, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi has been extended with effect from 15.08.2013.

 

A decision has been taken by the Government of India to make it a mandatory requirement for all applicants to apply online for an Indian visa. Therefore, with effect from 19.11.2012 all online visa applications by ordinary passport holders will be accepted for scrutiny and processing only at India Visa Service Centre (IVSC), House No.296, Kapurdhara Marg (adjacent to Indian Embassy, Kathmandu). Online applications of Diplomatic, Official, UNLP & Other International Organizations will continue to be accepted at the Indian Embassy.

Applications for obtaining visa of all categories to India need to be submitted at IVSC only. Applications for official visa of Diplomatic/ Official passport holders, Officials of the United Nations & other International Organizations will continue to get official visa directly from the Indian Embassy. Visa for private visits of these categories will be provided through IVSC.
