Tumhari Amrita, a popular play, was staged on 16th September 2009 at Kamalmani Theatre, Patan Dhoka.

     The story of the play is inspired by A R Guerney's Love Letters. It is a funny, poignant, melancholic chronicle of two people who would not come together and could not stay apart. A love story told through the exchange of love letters spanning 35 years between two people from very different backgrounds. A tale of universal tragedy of lovers torn apart by destiny, and a relationship between two articulate individuals who are engaged in constantly shifting priorities.  The main artists of the play are Ms. Shabana Azmi and Farooq Sheikh.  The play is directed by Mr. Feroz Khan.
